Elena Kagan: First openly gay justice

Written by on Tuesday, May 11th, 2010

Elena Kagan was often tagged as potentially the “first openly gay justice.” This is the latest news that we’ve gather about Elena Kagan. Based on our various sources, a White House spokesperson said that Domenech’s reference to Ms. Kagan as gay is not accurate at all.

Ben later in an addendum stated, “I have to correct my text here to say that Kagan is apparently still closeted — odd, because her female partner is rather well known in Harvard circles.”

On the other hand Anita Dunn, a former White House communications director, to say that the fact that they have chosen to become enablers of people posting lies on their site tells us where the journalistic standards of CBS are in 2010.

Anita Dunn said the network was giving a platform to a blogger with a history of plagiarism and who was applying old stereotypes to single women with successful careers.

As of now, nothing is clear about Elena Kagan’s sexual orientation. It is widely speculated that she is lesbian. There are rumors that she is an ex-partner of another legal academic.

While some says that even if she is a lesbian, she has never spoken about this in public.

Obama administration however should not be worried over her sexual orientation as over the years US state policies are run on professional standings and sexual orientation now has little to do with their choice.

This is the latest news about Elena Kagan and the so-called first openly gay justice.
